Saw the YouTube video about why the coyotes get hate. I’m a Florida panther fan and I support you guys. Arizona needs hockey and yes they may struggle but these so called traditionalist are being toxic gatekeepers. The panthers, lightning, predators, stars, golden knights, sharks and ducks have created a new generation of hockey fans and players. Once the coyotes get their young core going just like the panthers , things will change. Love your podcast
The thing is Canadians do know what it feels like to have their team taken away. I think where a big frustration comes from is how a city like Quebc City has everything it needs to support an NHL team with a healthy ownership a brand new stadium and a passionate fan base and yet we continue to have the Coyotes that have a dysfunctional ownership that doesn't seem commited to supporting and growing hockey in Arizona. If a Canadian team were to have a 5000 seat arena and not pay it's bills in its previous arena Garry Bettman would instantly move it, but since it's not it is fine.

The Ottawa sens dont have a bad arena. its a bad location. The fact is other cities would actually support the coyotes and its crappy to watch cities average 8k when NHL cities don't have a team would sell out the place everynight. The loss to Quebec and Winnipeg and Hartford devastated those cities. AZ wouldn't even notice in the grand scheme of things. Let's be real.
I hate their team and because their fan base sucks and talks nothing but smack yet they can’t back it up on the ice. If you can’t back it up on come gametime, shut your face and suck up your loss and don’t say a word and quit disrespecting other teams who are far superior than you. I’ve seen them do it in the 90s for Detroit when they were far superior, did the coyotes will ever be in one and 2 cups in a row. And what did the coyotes do? Absolutely choked against the Ducks who the Wings crushed in playoffs. they’re a joke team.
