If you’re not convinced the Oilers are winning the Cup this year, you clearly haven’t been paying attention. This team is STACKED. Stuart Skinner with the shutout? I mean, come on…there is no denying it anymore. He's the BEST goalie in the league. Guy's been dialed in all season, and he’s got ice in his veins. Forget about those other so-called “elite” goalies…Skinner’s the one who deserves to be Team Canada's starter. Imagine having a brick wall like that in net at the Olympics or 4 nations, it’d be a wrap.
And let’s talk about Darnell Nurse for a sec…this guy deserves to be on Team Canada too. Not only is he a physical force, but he’s been absolutely shutting down top competition every night. He’s got the vision, the skating, the leadership. I don’t care what anyone says…he’s one of the top defenders in the league and should absolutely be representing Canada.
Meanwhile, across the road, you got the Flames playing the Ducks. LOL. Come on, I mean, who are they even playing? A bottom-feeding team like the Ducks? Wake me up when they actually beat someone with a pulse. If they can somehow scrape together a win tonight, I’ll be shocked.
