  1. Fans and media like watching and talking about the soap opera compared to the sport.

  2. This is how you destroy a team. Right now, 3 of 5 of their best players are out injured. Last week it was 4 out of 5. Dismantling this team would be idiotic. If you watch good sports media, they encourage their teams to be great. You guys are constantly tearing them down. You're A holes!

  3. This reporters really don't know much more the the average fan. They may talk, but certainly GMs aren't telling them about their trade strategies.

  4. Elliotte is such a muppet. This guy just spews bullshit out his pie hole. The biggest challenge the Canucks have is dealing with trolls like Friedman on a daily basis. They should just stop talking to the media completely.

  5. I have a trade proposal for fun here. The Canucks trade Pettersson to the Islanders for another center Matt Barzal who's from Vancouver and Noah Dobson

  6. Just trade one of them and get it done with. I don’t want to hear it anymore

  7. Why is Fred Flintstone still talking about the Canucks? He is on a self imposed one month sabbatical. What a shit stormer you've become Elliotte, a canalizer of the water, another fomenter Jew.

  8. Exactly they are so desperate for drama they keep talking about it canucks are a good team they will make the playoffs they will be fine these rumors are hurting them they need to shut it down abs the analyst just pouring gasoline it’s embarrassing

  9. It's time to boycott this show. They keep promoting Friedman's fake news BS. I'm done with all of their BS.

  10. Friedman is a joke. All of his “insider” info is him making up stories. No way would Canucks would ever trade miller for Zinebanjad. That is so far fetched, it borders of stupidity. If Drury really made that offer, the Canucks should have hung up the phone without even a reply. Mika is not even worth Hoglander value.

  11. I feel like any trade involving Miller or Pettersson would be a lose-lose situation for Canucks. Miller has a NMC, so this is Kesler 2.0 and will limit trading partners. As for Petey, his value is not at an all-time high especially after that last playoff performance and the nagging injury. It's really unfortunate these 2 guys can't get along. Having two 100+ pt Cs are what contenders dream of.

  12. Here is my GM mode

JT is from East Palestine Ohio. Why not a trade home to CBJ?

Why? CBJ is an up and coming team, they have an incoming elite 1C in the Adam Fantilli, JT could help should some of the responsibilities for the next few years and than transition into a 2/3C support veteran role.

Canucks need pieces, CBJ has them in spades.

Cole Sillinger young signed at a good contract for another season after this. Could develop into a 2C.
Kent Johnson, speedy LWer hometown boy signed to a good 3 year contract.
Ivan Provorov, a legit 2nd pairing Dman, is a UFA no guarantee he resigns but if he fits in and does resign it would really shore up the defense.

The money works almost perfectly. I’d ask for CBJ to take on the Desharnais contract as an extra little cap space perk.

Of course it’s JT’s decision as he holds all the cards.

Risk on both sides but pretty fair value for both teams IMO.

  13. Pettersson is a princess. He cannot fit just anywhere. JT is the better bet to keep. But regardless, the nucks are going to fall back unless they can pull off what the Caps have done.
