Beat the stanley cup champions, then lose to Chicago. Makes sense.
It was a good win for the Blackhawks. They've now won 2-in-a-row over the Avs this season & Peter Mrazek was in goal for both games. He's allowed only 3 goals in 120 minutes of play vs Colo this year and his career record vs Colo is now 7-4-2 with 2-shutouts.With the win the Blackhawks finish the halfway mark of the season at 14-25-2, while simultaneously ending consecutive game point-scoring streaks by Rantanen (14-games) and MacKinnon (8 games). Colorado needs help at the center position. They also desperately need to get their Captain Gabriel Landeskog back in the lineup. They also need Jonathon Drouin back on the top line at the left wing position.
