Don't think any thing Detroit has I'm interested in. I think the Sabres should just stay put. Not trading just for the sake of trading

  2. It wouldn’t be Larkin. I don’t think they have the right assets to get Cozens. It would have to be a Dman because the Wings have no good young forwards worth Cozens and they aren’t trading Raymond or Debrincat or Larkin.

  3. Lol it has nothing to do with "being attached and not wanting to make changes" the idea of switching Larkin for Cozens is just dumb at this stage, the Wings are trying to improve lol not regress, that's what people were saying

  4. If Larkin is the asking price, that's why the trade hasn't happened, he's the captain, and the teams #1 center, the idea of bringing Cozens in is for him to be the #2 center, I get why buffalo would want him, but it makes no sense for detroit

  5. The Wings have a vibe going, so they should not shake that up – neither team improves enough without giving something up that might regress the team – just wrong trade partners so it makes no sense.

  6. Kasper was moved to the wing and looks good. the deal will not blow you away. It will look similar to Copp, Mazur, 1st 2025, 3rd or 2nd 2026. could see Compher as the vet too. I hope its not ras. It won't be Cossa, MBN, ASP or Danielson. Detroit would be better off staying away from the deal if a top prospect is involved.

  7. I said it before and will say it again. The Wings WILL NOT trade their 1C for a 2 C this is such a bad take! For that cap hit. Absolutely not. Especially with the chemistry Kane, Cat and Copp have had since the new coach. I think it will mess up Kane's production to change the lines now.

This is seriously such a bad take.

  8. genuinly curious about why people think it would take any of those players to get cozens. Hes had one 68 point season where as players like raymond are on the edge of being superstars and will score 30+ as pretty much a guarantee. Even larkin at this point in his carrer is guaranteed 30 and both those guys will be in the 80ish point range by the end of this season, raymond possibly even more if they are healthy. I dont see that same production or guarantee for that matter from cozens so i have no idea why people think it would take a raymond or larkin to get cozens. Larkin would be a pretty big downgrade. That suggestion is ridiculous. trade your captain and 80pt guy for someone whos best year was 68pts in 5 seasons? no sense.

  9. I'd give the Sabres Joe Veleno and a 2nd round draft choice(maybe another lower round draft choice) for Cozens, anything more wouldn't work.

  10. I'm convinced Cozens talent has topped out. I loved the guy in his draft year and was expecting the Wings to take him with their first pick. Surprise, Seider ends up being the guy and what a great find he's become. This talk of Larkin for Cozens is absurd and nonsense. Cozens may need a change of scenery but I'm not willing to risk giving away a prospect or two + at this point either. Wings have enough bad contracts and I don't think Buffalo is desperate enough to take them off our hands.
