    Came back from the Belleville Sens game. They scored the winning goal with just 2.2 seconds left. Great day for all things Sens.

    In the post game Travis mentioned “learning to have trust in the young guys we call
    Up”. Highmore is 28 years old and has a few years experience on NHL rosters (148 GP including his two with the sens this season). I don’t know if I’d include him in that category. The guy has the experience and the age, just needs to find his groove and etch himself a permanent spot on a roster or in coaches top 5 call ups list.

    I also found it almost comical how he referred to the fact that he “leans heavily on his goalie coaches” and that “they know them really really well” when he still insisted on putting Forsberg in net after the embarking games he’s had this year even with Ully injured. I’d trust any other young call up before putting Forsberg back between the pipes. He’s not NHL material and he hey doesn’t cut it when it comes to needing to be a reliable backup goalie

    I can’t wait for the Sens to put Forsberg on waivers. He’ll clear waivers faster than a toddler drinking apple juice and nobody will want him. So they’ll just bench him in Belleville 🤣🤣🤣. Good riddance

    Marchie, it’s a weekend game at 5 PM. Weekend afternoon games will always be packed cuz parents always bring the little ones to the earlier games

    During the post game star interview they said they were calling him the Finnish Assassin lol. I still prefer the Finnish Firewall
