I have no idea why all the Stanley haters. Is it because his mobility was hindered last season by not 1 but 2 debilitating ankle injuries he played through when most players would have been shelved? Pens are a 30 minute hockey team, weighted toward the first half. Easy explanation, all of their best players are around 40, go figure. If they don't get ahead in the first half, they pretty much don't win the game. If they get clowned on in the first half, its basically guaranteed to be a blow out. Bummer for Jarry, he had some good games to be fair. Hope he gets picked up by a better, younger team. Crosby needs to look for a trade, he'd be an amazing second or third line center on a playoff team. Send him to Edmonton!
Blackwood stole that game, night robbery. Avs had a turnover gallery game, similar to what we saw in the first half of the season. The only difference in this game vs. those was Georgiev would have been lit up, Blackwood stopped all but one breakaway/odd-man rush off the turnover. Avs fans, just remember, Blackwood will not be able to do this type of thing night after night. So the D needs to smarten up.

Yeah just from talking with local pawn shop ow,ners they say they WILL NOT accept Championship rings UNLESS the person is a Sidney Crosby (or NHL PLAYER basically) AND PLAYED FOR THE TEAM and can prove it (Usually just by saying the year the team and then looking up the roster) In case of someone claiming to be related (Sibling in law First Cousin ETC) They will ask for proof that the athlete is aware of doing this. For example Tom Brady gives permission to his brother to sell one of his superbowl rings for a charity. ThEY will then ask to prove their brothers usually by phone call or video call.

The Avs didn’t perform well last night, too many turnovers and too many breakaways given up. Let’s be real though, this kind of performance has been building for a while. It’s hard to remember the last time the Avs had a goalie steal a W for them
It sounds like Lindgren's injury was minor. I look for him to start against the Penguins. Logan has been playing better, but Charlie has had his moments too and has played very well in some games.

Re: The early 'victory lap' interview by Dubas. Penguins being dismissive of Flyers is nothing new. Think they were counting on Flyers especially falling back. Philadelphia has been resilient this season, though.
The Pens haven't been a serious playoff threat all year… Point share showed that will they had the pts to be a wild card 2 team it was because they had played more games. Even at WC2 6 Atlantic teams had a better point share %.
Now, only buffalo has a worse PS% and in the Metro, only the Islanders is worse.
