    You have to send Forsberg down and hope someone picks them up from waivers to clear some cap space and try to get Taylor Hall to play with Stützle and try to find a defenceman for depth

    Gaudette seems to be the only player consistently trying to get in front of the net, either positioning himself for a shot when the Sens are digging the puck out from behind the net or trying to tip it. I can't count how many times someone tries to set up a player in front of the net, but there's no one there. Also, too many times, three Sens players end up fighting for the same puck along the boards after a dump-in. It was a great high-energy effort, and Leevi and Timmy played well, but have to score goals. The chances didn’t always seem inspired. That said, they missed some good setups and could have scored at least three times if they hadn't fanned on shots or struggled to lift the puck when they were in front of the net – They hung with Caps and out played them in the 2nd for sure

    I love the Sens, but as I watch the Canadiens right now, I think they are more exciting and skilled than the Sens. I think they may both make the playoffs, but if I were to guess, I'd pick Canadiens > Sens for playoffs.

    I'm not concerned about the offensive output with the way they are playing defense they are doing what they need to to win games which is all you can ask for. Its not DJ Smith free for all hockey if this is how they have to play to succeed I dont care its working and its not like they are ever getting blown up the games are low scoring but the Sens are in contention in all of them because of this style which you cant say about previous teams where sure the pts were coming as individuals but not for the team

    I'll be BOTG for the Boston game with my dad tomorrow! Looking forward to it. It's big game indeed a win could leapfrog us over the Bruins into wildcard territory. Can't wait! GSG!
