Management has admitted that they're shopping Pettersson but haven't said they're shopping Miller
Ownership/management has encouraged Miller and his teammates to ride Pettersson. They think it will make him a better player. That doesn't work and isn't working. Some guys need a kick in the ass and some need a pat on the back. You can't treat every player the same way
Vancouver is a dumpster fire!! 1. Boesser is testing the market he's gone!! 2. Tocchet is done after this year and will be coach of the Philadelphia Flyers next season 3. Quinn Hughes 💯 is done 2027 he has no intentions staying and will head home USA!!
Pettersson and Hughes have the same agent and are close. If Hughes had his choice he'd back Pettersson

The Canucks have so many issues that I see is likely they'll take at least into this coming offseason to resolve.
Demko sounds like he may not physically be the same, that's the end of the story every thing up is fixable .
I get the sense that Miller is the kind of guy who will find issues with other players wherever he goes. He’s a real good hockey player when things are going well but he is pure poison if he’s not satisfied with everyone and he throws tantrums and his play suffers badly.
Not J.T 's fault… I'm convinced he just given up because most of his teammates are losers. (IE all the defence but Hughes). He showed this in Montreal by getting 4 points without breaking a sweat. and they still lost. Just pathetic.
Its an indictment on Allvin to stupid to read the room 2 years ago and not resigning horvat and trading jt instead did the opposite and fd it up.

JT has 3 young kids, 2 dogs, and trophy wife = lots baggage to worry about besides hockey. Why would he agree to be traded now in the middle of a busy hockey season, kids in school, etc…?

Tocchet isn't the problem. The problem is obviously the core…JT, Petey, Brock and even Demko should be potentially traded to bring a different look to the team. Hughes, Sherwood, Lan, Garland, and to a lesser degree Blueger show up every game and r worth every dime in their contracts.

In hind sight, what did we get for Bo Horvat ? any young prospects ? The team is a mess…I really gave up on the G.M. when he couldn't sign Zedorov… Should have gave him the extra million.
