The current Wings power play is maybe the best PP I’ve witnessed in the regular season….. so damn fun to watch. When teams are very afraid to take penalties, it affects the way they play. Our PP is so scary, it’s gotta be on every team’s mind right now.

That loss to the Sharks really stings. The Wings have never won 10 in a row, in the entire history of the franchise. If we had beaten the Sharks the game tomorrow would be a chance to make franchise history, and it would have been a really cool story. Unfortunately, the beginning of the season is going to bite them in the ass. I'm thinking of 5 games in particular, the back to back losses to Montreal, the two losses to San Jose, and the loss to Anaheim. They should have gotten at least 7 of those points, and if they did they would be 3rd in the Atlantic and 6th in the East. Mark my words, those points will end up being the reason they miss the playoffs.
