That was one heck of a game the boys played tonight.

I was there in person with my wife!! We live in SoCal. The Penguins played like they care for one another if you get my meaning and are starting to show that “togetherness” on a consistent basis. We will be at the game vs the ducks too!! Oh i also played after at crypto wearing my Penguins jersey, someone organized a post game pick up game, it was awesome to play on the same ice as our team was changing in the locker room 😊
This might not be the best Pens team, but they all care, they all work hard, they want to win. Good 2 points boys.
Ill tell you what DK, im not used to waking up and seeing 5-1 in our favor. Usually it is a 5-1 loss.
Finally, a solid 60 minutes, the Penguins played a great game!
Even more impressive was that they also hadcto beat the officials too,which at times looked like they desperation wanted to gove the game to the Kings at one point. ( I know, a disreputable facet to gripe about,but still)
Glass is coming into his own slowly. Tomassino too, who showed remarkable chemistry with Geno. Why not at least keep those together?
I couldn't believe what I was seeing DK! They came out hopping and never let up!
In basketball terms it was like putting on a full court press all game long!

DK, can you speak to the difference in the mentality of the team when you aren’t always worried about the level of goaltending? It seems like they play with more confidence and are much looser (in a good way) when they get consistency between the pipes. Hate to beat a dead horse here… wow what a complete game last night!
I will say what you won’t. They were fighting for a goalie that fights for them. Smells like after the deadline last year. This is good
now do that again tomorrow. Get the two wins in a row.
They didnt win because of the goalie. They won because they scored 5 freaking goals. Say it.
Sustained o-zone baby. Glass and Beau Beau stepped up for Raks. Defense kept LA to “one and done” on the other end.
A turnover won’t end up in the net so they are more confident trying to make plays instead of avoiding making mistakes. Idk
