The guys will have to win all three home games coming up if they have any chance for the playoffs. We then have to win at least 2 out 4 on the Western Canada trip.
Coach was more positive about this game than I expected. Something was wrong with them tonight. Mentally, they just don't seem to be in the right place. Offense was painful to watch, lots of guys either trying to do too much or not doing enough. Both are ways of not playing like a team.
If they don’t beat MTL on Thursday that pretty much seals the deal on the season. Gotta start blowing this roster up

Why do you get away from all the good things we were doing during a 7 game win streak come on man I know hockey games can be unpredictable but one things certain is you can always give 100% effort each night and you’ll win a hell of a lot more than you’ll lose if you do. This roster is capable, I know for a fact they’re better than teams currently ahead of them which makes this all more disappointing. Not out of it yet though.

Both goalies fought it out,Philly goal was pretty much unstoppable (nice passing and a stellar backhand) I didn’t think the wings would get as many points as they did on this road trip.I’m not giving up on them quite yet,this home stand will reveal a lot. I would like to see these two teams face each other in the playoffs (Probably won’t happen though)

You need to push these guys like Herb Brooks after this lackluster effort tonight & the last 3 pathetic efforts your team put out! Todd McLellan randomly deciding to react to Kane making one horrible play at Dallas after 10 games carrying the team by humiliating him and demoting him to 4th line appears to have broken the player again, which will end any hope of not being terrible. The team runs on him or doesn't run really at all. He had 3 plays late in this (1 in the 3rd, 2 in OT) that any time in the last month prior to the Dallas benching, he wins the game for the Wings and is the hero.
When a player runs on confidence and on feeling like a star, and when the team runs on that particular player producing and scoring and making plays and doing big celebrations, maybe don't randomly pick on that player and 'put him in his place' for a random bad play after he's carried you for 3 weeks.
