Another great episode. Thanks guys. You have leverage because quite a few teams can use him.
I've seen Sid give a good chop to the groin.
Jt miller.. trying to tough Elias Petterson up? Probably not. You can't put boxing gloves on a fkn princess!
McDavid’s recent past hasn’t been that squeaky clean……maybe that influenced the suspension?
Why would he scale back involvement lol terrible take. The guy crosschecked a guy to the face lol. It doesn't matter the scenario that led up to it. He deserved it. And also the league missed a chicken wing elbow to a guy 2 days before this. He's not as innocent as Edmonton fans would like to believe.
The amount of interrupting in the John Shannon interview was unbearable
McDavid is a new breed of holier than though skilled players, spolied and not willing to participate in the game other than getting their way, or be dirty about retribution. It's typical spoiled child behaviour. What should have McDefense?'s response been to a holding penalty not called against Garland (in the midst of a roughing penalty not called against McD, by the way!… making the refs let both go, and play on)? Either Garland did something egregious (intent to injure) against McD (which he didn't), or he interfered with McD's ability to get into the play. If the first was true, the thing a MAN playing hockey would do, is drop the stick, drop the gloves, and take humbrage by challenging the guy to a fight (such is the nature of this sport, like it or not). As it wasn't anything that bad that Garland did, then he can go to the refs and complain, like MEN do in this game, when a seemingly blatant call is 'missed', or not called, and the refs can give their explanation. As Captain of the team, this is even MORE the direction McDoh! has at his disposal. To react how he did to a potential "holding / interference penalty", initially with a punch to Garland's head (a "roughing penalty"), and then the two-hander cross-check to a guy's face, is inexcusable. NOTHING Garland did desreved that. Take your frustration of being checked (literally) into the ice for most of the game back into the dressing room, and break a toilet or something… NOT break someone's face! GROW UP, and alternatively stand up for yourself LIKE A MAN, and challenge Garland to a scrap, per NHL 'civil law', if you think what he did warranted it. Jeez, it's not like you'd have been challenging Joshua or even Miller! It's 5'9" Garland! Glad the NHL laid down the law, rather than a simple $$ Fine.
