  1. You can't fine a player $500,000. The maximum allowable by the CBA is $5,000.

I really couldn't care less about the 4 Nations Cup, and I'm a little surprised that others feel differently.

  2. I'm still salty about it… there's a chance my brother an I will cancel our trip, and try for another time, was looking forward to going to my first nhl game and watch them and mcdavid in action in Edmonton against the Canucks

  3. Jeff Skinner has as much talent as Connor big toe.
Note I wouldn’t play if Garland is on the ice. I hope Garland leaves on a Stretcher then he’ll see how many games he should have missed! 🥊

  4. I personally think they saw that the Wild's Johanson got put on the injury list for a concussion and having two suspension worthy issues in two games decided to be a bit more tougher on him.

  5. In a perfect world, the refs would've gotten 10 games each, and the players would've gotten nothing.

Game gets ref'd properly, and none of this happens. So tired of seeing people pay attention to the effect, and never the cause.

  6. They were pressing him and he was trying not to drop a bombshell but obviously he’s frustrated with the officiating. The players are frustrated and the fans are. He also mentioned the game happens quick and refs are not going to make the right call every single time. I and many others know the league needs more consistency from the refs and there’s a problem with letting things go under certain circumstances with certain players.

  7. All superstars and star players should drop out on 4 nations as the nhl want there money and don’t care on the stars

  8. Why isn’t there any talk at all about how one of the more respected referees in McCauley can allow this be a non call. I don’t condone what happened, however, does he call this penalty at the 10minute mark of the first period? Why are the referees seldom, if ever, not held accountable for their choice of not stopping something before it escalates, by applying the rules of hockey, the way they were meant to be applied.
