Nucks went through a decade of mediocrity, because they traded to get back to 2010/11. Those teams, had been great and built up over years. Last years canucks were the first playoffs in years. Your not propping up a great team with hof players like sedins, louongo.
Miller to NJD, Nemec to NYR, Lindgrin & Miller to VAN – NYR take $. There are more pieces to this deal, but this is a core that works.

I don't want Nemec. Him saying "I was drafted 2nd overall" is a sense of entitlement. Its not like NJD is a rebuilding team, you have to earn a spot and he feels he should be given one. Its Luke Hughes coming back or I wouldnt even consider the trade. Nemec is a prospect, not an NHL player.
I'd do Miller for Nemec straight up, anything extra is gravy

The fact that Boeser is not signed should make you assume he's not coming back. Write the season off to injuries and internal dysfunction. Trade Boeser, probably to Minnesota. Then trade Miller.
