From other trade rumor today leafs to aquire Versatility winger LW/RW Alexey Toropchenko and RD Colton Parayko at double retained 1.625 aav for F Pontus Holmberg and RD Conner Timmins and forward prospect nick Abruzzese or RD Prospect Topi Niemela and 2nd in 2027 and Predators to retain 50% on Colton Parayko for pick or prospect if true or not we will see?
What would they have to give up for that? I’d rather Luke scheen back again

Once again as I have been saying on this channel a major shakeup needs to be done on the Powerplay. Fire Savard the pp coach or shuffle it around …something! Everyone and their grandma knows they are aiming to put the puck on Matthews stick. He's no Ovi when it comes to PP wizardry and can score easily but when partially injured or not 100% he is not scoring from his office. The second unit is completely useless. No team in the NHL fears the likes of those 5 scorers

Nick is doing ok. Rielly and Holmberg are ridiculously bad. How can you play on the first line and second line and still come out with zero. And Rielly has been awful. But the guy is a good playoff guy. Tough to watch.
No small players. They don't win puck battles. Dubus proved that. $4.6 Million? Give us a break. Now Oleksiak is a great pick up. Throw Kampf in the garbage and do not trade Robertson or they will regret it. He actually can score and will be a 20-25 scorer some day

Leafs don't need another 5'9" player in any position, Gourde is a NO for me.

Bruh… How do you expect to fit all these guys under the cap… Even with Retention .. Youre still 2,3 Oleksiak, 2.6 for Gourde and 1.8 for Tanev. gutta move out about 7M. Double retention wwwould be too pricey or depth pieces like this.
I could see 2 of the 3. Tanev and Oleksiac then the cheaper centre i think 2.6 is to much for gourde.
