Im a jets fan but im just weighing in as a 3rd party. I dont think the rangers should trade for jt.miller if it means giving up Schneider or laf. Thats way too much value for a problematic 31 year old.

Unfortunate rumor, which i guess means they were not offered anything close to deal that makes sense for the Canucks. Pretty sure the Canucks want Schneider and Cheeto at the minimum and the Rangers didn't want to do it.
Miller isn’t going anywhere other than a Stanley Cup contender. In the prime of his career and he has 3-4 top end years left at most. NY and Carolina makes the most sense. Why wouldn’t or haven’t the canucks offered EP for Barzal. Similar players with high end talent but both leave you wanting a little more.

Canucks are under pressure to unload JT & he is vetoing any trade except to the Rangers. So the NYR have the leverage in this situation. Schneider, Laffy…’Nucks want them badly, but they won’t get them.

Already been reported that Lafreniere & Schneider were NEVER on the table. It seems the deal was probably Chytil, Sykora & Chmelar, the fact that it was the Rangers who cancelled the deal is very interesting.

Lindgren is a UFA and his wheels are shot so no loss there. Chytll i admire the effort but they need a major upgrade from him so he won't be missed. I'm back and forth w Lafreniere, he's been disappointing since his extension, so i dnt what to feel about him being moved. 32 yr old w 5yrs left on his deal makes me very iffy getting him. Unless Drury has other plans by the deadline to load this team up

Laffy doesn’t do enough on every level of his game. There’s glimpses of him playing they way he should but not nearly enough better then Kakko taco but that’s not saying much
