Panarin absolutely gave up
Wow, Panarin on that nonexistent back check to give up the game winner. It’s disgraceful…..like his legs should be going as fast as the possibly can and dive at the last minute to try and disrupt Lekonin’s shot. He just gives up. This is the type of play from your leader in a must win game that shows our true character.

Drury looking like he can end up being an important part of this deal. The Avs have gotten nothing out of their bottom line center this year and Jack not only scored, but he was 2/3 on faceoffs on the penalty kill. Something he's good at and the Avs have been dreadful. Great energy.
Makes it even more satisfying when the lowlife Rangers fan gives the celebrating Avs the middle finger after the game-winner. Zero class.

Teams that let that last play happen are having serious problems. The total lack of awareness means the bench was not doing its job of yelling that the penalty was over and that Makar was coming. And then the refusal to defend by Panarin. Just a shameful display

This trade on Friday was a superstar for superstar move. Trading Rantanen sucked!!! But it’s not like Necas is some 3rd liner, he’s an underrated superstar. Really excited to watch him in the Avs sweater the rest of the year!!

Makar just skewered the Rangers. Two goals and a sneaky ambush steal with an assist to the winning goal with seconds remaining in regulation. Talk about imposing your will.
Panarin with a complete lack of effort. Dont care if you've been out there 2 minutes, he quit. Disgraceful.
