Can't see it working. Who would be the support players? Rather have Kane and Henrique and others to fill out the bottom six. Only team with a lot of cap space is the LA Dodgers. He can play on a line with Ohtani and Freddie Freeman.

I don't see how the season Bouchard is having justifies a $10 million contract.
I don’t see this happening because of cap space! 97 will probably get 18mill, 25 gets 9.5, 29 gets 14, then what will #2 is unknown! Even though the cap space will go up these guys would get it all and maybe enough left over to get a handful of support players! They all want to win a cup, but if these guys get all the money then maybe they could buy one! If Rantanen came there you have it!!!
Bouchard is not and I say not worth 10mill, maybe 5-6 million! He has a good shot, but there are other areas he is not that great! His partner is much better than him and he is nowhere near the amount that Bouch will probably want!!!

Everyones else re signing will have to drop to a million or less, and rantsnin would have to be willinf to take 5 million less rhen what hes asking for. Of all that happens aure they COULD sign him. Good luck re signing mcdavid, skinner, ekholm and others coming up in the next couple years.

All comments about Bouch but I really don’t like Rantanen for more than 11 million. I like Bouch for around 8. It could be spent much better elsewhere still.

Why the Fook is he still on the PP, it was number 1 with Tyson Barrie but we needed that trade for Echolm… He needs to get his bell rung like nurse did and he knows how defense works
