REFS VS OILERS WE GOT SCREWED Honestly, if you break down the game, you can’t blame the boys for the loss tonight. The rink temperature was definitely a few degrees too warm for us, which messes with the puck's glide. I mean, when the ice is soft like that, you can’t expect perfect puck handling. And don’t even get me started on the pre-game meal…too much pasta, too heavy. The guys just didn’t have that light feeling in their legs. I also heard the team’s locker room playlist wasn’t up to par…couldn’t get the right vibes going. Gotta have that right energy. If all these things line up, we probably win, no question… and the refs definitely bet on Detroit in this one.
Speaking of bad decisions, I see the Flames just went out and traded for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee? Now, look, I get it—they’re hoping these guys can step up, but come on. Frost? The guy can barely crack the lineup on a third-tier team, and Farabee—he wouldn’t even make the Oilers' bottom six. Let’s be real, even the Oilers' fourth line would skate circles around them. What are the Flames doing? It’s like they’re shopping in the bargain bin and thinking they’ve found diamonds. Good luck with that, Calgary!
