@Wild du Minnesota

Nous venons de voir l’histoire de la LNH

21 years after Marc-André Fleury, who recorded his first career shutout as a teenager way back on October 30th of 2003 in Chicago, made NHL history again tonight against the Montreal Canadiens becoming the first goal tender to record a shutout both as a teenager as ainsi qu’à 40 ans ou plus.

  1. The game is really gonna miss that man. He is pure class from top to bottom. It was a honor and a joy to cheer him on as a Pens fan, that last second cup clinching save in detroit will live in Pittsburgh lore along side Bill Mazeroski's World Series game 7 walk-off homerun and Franco Harris's Immaculate Reception. Thanks for memories Flower, you are the best at what you do.

  2. He obviously has more years in him, but hell…. Enjoy your afterlife man, his time in Pittsburgh was absolutely incredible!

  3. As a Caps fan he tortured us for 10 years with his amazing playoff performances with the Penguins, in a weird twist Caps finally got the better of him but it was in Vegas with two third period goals to finally win the Cup. Not sure where he fits but one of the greats

  4. As a Bruins fan I did try to hate MAF, but was not successful. Very bad news for opposing forwards, amazing instincts and reflexes (even still, at 40) and very normal and likable for a goalie (hockey players will know I mean this in the best possible way..). Really enjoyed his international play as part of team Canada from juniors on up. Love the Habs lining up like PeeWees to shake his hand, ultimate hockey show of respect.

  5. Truly blessed as a Pens fan to have watched all the legends that we have had!

  6. This Man is One of a kind . Super humble and very polite. Best wishes Sir . Wish u coulda retired a penguin

  7. Don't care what team you root for, you can't hate Flower. Such a great guy. Mad props to MTL and their fans.

  8. Roy, Brodeur, Luongo and now Fleury. We truly are seeing the end of the era of incredible quebec native goalies

  9. Here's an understatement; this is the kind of stuff you have to work hard at, … and Marc-André Fleury earned it and more ! It's what makes legends.

  10. i hate pittsburgh, minnesota, and i despise vegas, but throughout that, i could never find a reason to hate the flower, truly my favorite player in the league.

  11. Flower was the first hockey player I ever met and he'll always be one of my favorites!! Hope nothing but the best in his retirement. 🎉
