The new guys looked fantastic for a “lack of chemistry” game. Just think how they can only get better as they start to get to know each other’s playstyle better. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

Swapping out Juulsen for Hughes must be the largest improvmemt possible to a team with a single swap.
Vancouver will definitely make playoffs. Lets see of they can best Winnipeg and get last Edmonton. I like Vancouver but they are definitely not as good as Leafs , E town or Winnipeg.

I really like Chytil and O'Connor. They were both fast, tenacious and noticeable on the ice. Hoping they'll stay consistent and it isnt just a "first game with a new team" energy. M. Pettersson and D-Petey were great too too, very steady and calm, made some great passes that's been missing from this D core. Not overly impressed with Petey, he seriously needs to start taking over shifts and driving play, there were only a few instances I saw last night where he really stood out. Frustrating loss but one I can live with as long as the quality of play keeps up. Things felt very fresh last night, let's see where this goes.

Was trying to figure out where Chytil was and like ‘who’s that guy trying drive play and deke through guys in the middle and set up play’, hasn’t happened all season! Got done in OT again but great pressure in the second and third and deserved a better result.
The NHlL is so even and sadly without Hughes the Canuck are a bottom 5-10 team, with Hughes they are a top 10-15 team, that’s the difference he makes.
I knew our boy Juulsen would still be in the lineup :p.

thats the point with this coach he keeps playing inept players….. Petterson does well with creative players such as hoglander and Karlsson. Boser wtf, all these guys who are suppose to score cant hit the net, I cant see him scoring a bunch without miller. It might be too late to make playoffs with Calgary and what Conroy has done adding young players, they look like contenders.

Petterson grew to be the steadiest, most reliable Pens’ D man over the last few seasons. Enjoy-great player, good guy.
The reffing was just absolute crap
The reffing has been beyond garbage. Petey just gets dumped near the end of the 3rd. No call. Several missed high stick calls the last 2 games before this. Its just ridiculous. You gotta wonder if the Canucks could have done better if the refs did their jobs.
Where is the accountability for the refs when they miss OBVIOUS calls?
Aside from that. Im liking what im seeing from these new guys. Especially Chytil. We need more guys driving the play like that. Defense core is already better.

Even though Pettersson and Boeser have both been struggling individually I feel like the team as a whole looked better and more structured in the Wings game. Also Id like to see Petey with Sherwood again they looked really good together earlier in the year and I think it would be worth trying again.
