I'm getting tired of seeing Mike Sullivan chewing gum on the bench.
There is absolutely no way the Predators had 14 High Danger Chances. I looked that up too and was stunned. This 2-0 felt different because there was never a time where the lead felt like it was in jeopardy. Honestly when the Penguins went up 2-0, I was relaxed because Nashville was doing zero all night long. Yes they aren't good, but neither were the Ducks, Kraken, or Sharks and look what happened there.
Also, I really liked that second line with Cody Glass, Michael Bunting, and Danton Heinen I thought gelled pretty well together, despite not getting any practice time and they generated a couple of good scoring chances. Also my hot take, Danton Heinen is going to get a goal before the Penguins finish up Saturday and go on their two week break, he did have a couple of good looks on Saturday, he's going to get one in these next three games.
I'm skeptical, but what if graves and vinny create a solid third pair. They both have size. Vinny has the physicality and graves was miscast as a stay at home defenser and is probably better at moving the puck. Stranger things have happened and it would be great for both of them to play well and increase their values for the future. Again let's see what happens hahhahah

I literally hate the 4 Nations Face Off. No Russians or Czechs or Slovaks. No Ovechkin or Geno? No Michkov or Kaprizov? I'd rather have a 4 Captains face off. The 4 Captains can have a draft and GM their own teams. McDavid could draft Ovechkin. Matthews could draft Kaprizov. MacKinnon could draft Crosby and Marchand. That way Russians can play. If you can compete for your country as a group or team, then you can compete for your captain: McDavid, Matthews, MacKinnon, and Barkov.
Looking forward to more trades near the deadline. They looked better against nashville. Nashville is not good this season but their roster is way more talented then pittsburgh's. Not only do the devil's not have markstrom but hischier will be out as well. I think the rangers 1st rd pick will be this coming draft. I like this year's draft. If it ends up in the 14 to 15 range, their is a lil wing prospect named cameron schmidt who can really score and reminds me a lot of cole caulfield
