That Wally breakaway was brutal, he actually beat Fleury 5 hole but man it just HAD to hit the post. Whuff. But his backcheck prevented a goal against and enabled the breakout that led to Freddy's snipe (his following penalty looked like a pretty soft call to me and may have been a makeup call for said backcheck lol).
My only criticism is another slow start, penalties, and trying not to rely on Swayman so much.
It will kill us against top teams. Otherwise good stuff.
Lohrie looked good and McAvoy's attack down the slot…nice.

Honestly, as much as I disagree with the moves Seeney has made, I don’t envy them. This team looked good. Like a competitive team. What are we supposed to do with that? We all know they are going to completely shit the bed in the next game and we’ll all be hating them, but THAT team was competitive.
Pastrnak should win the hart if he carries this team to playoffs. (AGAIN BTW)

Both goaltenders were wildly impressive tonight. Swayman actually looked like an $8 million goalie for maybe the first time all season, and Fleury was a machine. Great game overall.
It was Wally's backcheck that created the Frederic chance, but Carlo drove the net. I thought the same thing as you did live.
I'm right there with you. But Lohrei DOES actually have speed, for a defenseman. He's 87th percentile for speed and 73rd percentile for speed bursts over 20 mph. You'll never guess who the fastest player on the Bruins is…
Really excellent skit! And it's great that we're great at home, but if (when?) we make the playoffs, we're definitely going to be the lower seed throughout the playoffs. But I guess let's get to the playoffs first and then we'll worry.

Minus the first 10 minutes I thought this was one of our strongest games of the season. The offense was buzzing and defense held strong. Special teams have looked better the past few games and Sway is finally coming into form. Can’t wait for Hampus to come back and see what this team looks like 100% healthy.

I've been staying positive all year. Getting healthy slowly, Sway is finding it, Freddy is playing well (I don't they trade him) and all at the right time. I still think the playoffs are very possible, won't be easy, but I think they get in. I really do.
the bruins cant play on the road unfortunately if they just played at home they could certainly do it.
Pound for Pound I would say it was the best performance of the year and mirrors what he team is all about. Goaltending was outstanding. The overall team play was spot on and looks to be falling into place. Remember we will not score a lot of goals especially in the playoffs if we make it of course but keep this up and we are golden. Nice job.
Fleury can still play at freaking 40!!!!!!!!! Yeah we beat him last night but he did not look bad.
I sat when the game started expecting a loss, hoping for an OT loss so we did not have teams pass us in the standings. The first 10 minutes did not change that attitude. If they play out the season playing like they did in this game we can't be disappointed. Excellent game! Few of those glaring mistakes, tight defense, getting shots on net.

Fascinating, Zadorov has a team-leading +13. No one else is close. I agree his mistakes are glaring and infuriating, especially at his cap hit. Captain Obvious point here: Either the Bs offense is overperforming when Zad's out there or he's managing to thwart the opponent's scoring chances more often than average. 🤔
That was a satisfying win. We won a lot of the puck battles and Sway was great. I slept like a baby lol
