To bad about Soucy. From the time we first got him he was better than Meyers. Now he does not look as good. We probably will not get back anyone of equal value. And the issue with Thompson I feel the same way with Vancouver. Hardly bat an eye when other teams cheap shot our star players. Then again you have to have someone who can answer the bell. Only person I thought was Miller and he is gone. Which means to me open season in Vancouver. Would be like a while back when Marcus Pettersson stood up just to get his butt kicked. But he stood up. If Quinn can't make the 4 nations Luke can take his spot so we still have a Hughes on the blueline.

I don't watch much of Dallas games but I can't help to think that Heiskanen is one of those players who gets talked about a lot but feels a bit overrated? I mean, I know he is good but is he really THAT good?
Only other team I've seen not responding to bad hits is Penguins, it's such a bad look. With Penguins since it's been a thing for years. I think it comes from up top that they don't allow the players to respond. Which is certainly a choice.
