  1. Only trade I'd make is for a Dman that is built for the playoffs and is able to fit in the top 4 due to an injury. Defense is our weakest position the players understand it as well we have so many serviceable players. The forward group can't change as it would be a slap in the face, despite the injuries to Lowry and Samberg the team has stepped up in every way. To get a 2C which is what you'd want ideally, the question is what do you give up to get that. My guess is a first round pick, a replacement and a prospect at least. By trading anyone it changes the vibe Mony fit but Taffloli absolutely hurt the team chemistry last year. My 2 cents.

  2. Top in the league, 7 wins in a row with a
shutout from the backup goaltender against a very good team. The chemistry is all there. Just get a decent defender to replace Stanley and leave it alone. Everything else is just right and simmering nicely ready to be served at playoff time.

  3. Wpg should make a play for Nicolas Roy from Vegas. Guy can play in all ice situations, is physical & has offensive ability as well. Also can play wing & center being good in the faceoff dot.
As it is, he plays on a 3rd line in a checking role. He's on the hook @ $3.1 for 2 more years so he would be a bargain.
    Grab em Wpg.
As for D, bring up Phillips for a few games to see how he performs once the club hopefully secures the President's Trophy.

  4. No trade for now, leave it as is they were doing good now don't screwed up!

  5. Was Lowry out who's dropping the gloves it isn't Miller it isn't Samberg it is in ehlers do you see the way the guy straighten out when Stanley skates over. If you don't think that is crazy value something's wrong. The Jets are second in the NHL with points scored by defenseman and they are second best in the NHL at goals against

  6. There’s a strong possibility of Ehlers leaving… You also have a video named “why haven’t the jets traded mark scheifele and Connor Hellebuyck yet” soooo….

  7. Soucy and McCann could help. Not sold on Boeser…he disappears for long stretches.

  8. Wrong on Granlund. The guy has been point per game in SJ for the past 2 years. He’s a stud

  9. Soucy is terrible. As a jets fan that lives in Van. I’ve witnessed him for nearly 90% of the Canucks games. He’s been really bad.

  10. The Jets are the best team in the NHL currently, have scored the most goals in the league, and are tied for least goals allowed. We have a lethal powerplay, are very good defensively, and have what I think is the best team chemistry in the league. We are also going to be getting our captain back soon!!

On Forward I wouldn't want them to do anything unless it is a absolute no brainer. Maybe someone like a Cozens. But if it's not a top tier forward then I think we let the guys who have been doing an amazing job and working their asses off keep going. If we add a Mcginn or Boeser, then who loses their spot? Are these guys going to be happy coming in and possibly going to the 4th line? I say don't mess with the chemistry on offence.

On Defense, I want so badly for the Jets to find someone to take Stanley's spot. He is not good enough for this team unfortunately and we need someone to step in and get him out. If we could get Chicago to retain a chunk of Salary on Seth Jones, I think that would be interesting. Or someone like Byram from the Sabres.

  11. I kinda feel Nelson/Boeser are going sign Minnesota offseason since they have Parise/Suter contracts off books.

    I like the Mcann deal,I like Barzal/Horvat,Cozens.
Even on Seattle a Jaden Schwartz.

If want get lesser players but shopping done 1 place
    Dumoulin+Strome
    Zacha+Carlo
    Laughton+Ristolainen
    Dach+Savard

Idk if blues would ever move Schenn,Thomas,Kyrou.
    Other guys I'm fine with Nyquist,Bertuzzi,Bjorkstrand,Eberle,Karlsson, Hayton,Sanheim,Pulock,Parayko,Teravainen.
Contracts that were big arnt alot now
    ORielly 4.5m +2yrs after this
    Horvat 8.5m 6more years
mcann 5m 2 yrs after this
    Bertuzzi 5.4m 2yrs after this
    Parayko 5yrs 6.5m
    Ristolainen 5.1m 2yrs after this
Bjorkstrand 5.4m 1 yrs after this
Strome 5m 2 yrs after this
Zacha 4.7m 2 yrs after this
    Sanheim 6.25m 6yrs
    Pulock 6.1m 5yrs
    Thomas 8.1m 6yrs
    Trochek 5.65m 4yrs
    Rielly 7.5m 5yrs
Teams will be overpaying Pionk,Ehlers,Chychrun who I believe will get over 7-8m on longer term deals. Dobson/Bouchard will get big RFA.
I feel Ekblad will be overpaid until cap goes up
We will have to pay over 8.5m when Connor comes up 2026. Morrissey 2027/28.

  12. The Jets took home their seventh straight victory with an impressive win over the Hurricanes. They continue to hold the best record in the league, have the most wins, and the best goal differential. At the 55 game mark, the Jets are the favorites to win the Stanley Cup.
