The problem on the review topic is while their suggestions will lead to less reviews, it will not necessarily reduce the length of review. Remember, a lot of the time wasted is after the choice to challenge has been made. What you're actually asking is for the league to employ more people, maybe dedicated people for every running game on a given night, and turn decisions to the video room instead of on-ice refs. This way, all plays are already being looked at before a challenge is even given. Then when the challenge is made, the refs should connect to the video review room and get a consensus decision in short fashion. Unfortunately today, it's the refs equally part of the problem: taking time to make a decision on a small ipad. I don't particularly have a problem with teams taking a minute or two (the equivalent of a quick commercial break) to make the decision on challenging or not. I don't think that's what is impacting the experience here.
Which brings us to the real point. I think, ultimately what bothers Kyper and people touchy on this subject, is goals being called back because of "ticky-tacky technicalities". If that is your stance, then you don't want the game to get it right, you want the game to be purely entertaining. Nothing wrong with that, but you have to accept that's what you're asking for. And when you get it, then you can't complain about the number of games they give in a suspension, or the rules that are broken by other teams on the salary cap, or whatever else might be something in which not getting it right has an impact. You're either all for it, or you're not. Otherwise you end up with situations like the cup finals with BUF and DAL (early 2000s) all those years ago. Getting it right would have meant calling the goal back on the technicality. The league would go on to removed the technicality because getting it right was important but they didn't want a goal like that not to count. Limiting the decision time is going to result in a lot of stuff not getting it right, which will lead to people wondering "why bother" at all.
At the end of the day, by the rules the player played the puck with a high stick and the goal was called back. They barely touched it and it was only ever so slightly above but that's the rule and I'm ok with that. The following goal the goalie was interfered with, however little you might think it was, its still interference and so they call the goal back. I don't think that took away from the vibe of the game as much. In fact, I think this was rather reflective to how important the game was to both teams to win 2 points: decided by tight margins.

Nick Cousins is only an octave higher than pos Ryan Hartman…I say an octave, because Cousins seems to pop in a couple of more goals once in awhile….and used to be a dependable bottom liner and penalty killer who played with more respectable morales, not sure exactly when he turned into the putrid pest that we see now.
