After seeing how the season has progressed with the wings I am not sure we need to accelerate Cozens into the 2C spot and we may be able to wait for Nate next season. That being said, I’d trade for cozens if Copp or Compher is going back the other way, a 2nd rd pick, Rasmussen, and a mid tier prospect

As a Wings fan, I don't like the trade. Cozens had a great first year, but has done nothing since. Is he another NHL Head Case? The kind of guy who wants to play when he wants to? I like Berggren and think he'll be a better player long run. We have guys in Grand Rapids who'll be in Detroit in the next year or 2. Kasper who has thrived on the top line right now will be a center in the coming years. Don't screw up the nucleus of the team right now. If anything trade Holl (if possible) and get a good defensive defenseman. That's the weakest part of the team.
The Quinn Hughes return is not realistic.
A more realistic package would be Hamilton, Casey, 2025 1st, 2026 1st for Quinn Hughes

I see two problems in the Clarke trade proposal other than the ones you mentions.
First off, the Kings are in what, the sixth year of their 5-year plan? If they were to move a valuable asset like Clarke (and Turcotte) it would be for a player that can help them now, this year, not some time down the road. (also they don't have cap-space to take on that type of player).
And second, while Turcotte was looking like a bust previously now that he's finally staying healthy he's starting to look like a guy that was take 5th overall. He's not that yet but it's entirely possible that he will be that player in another year or two. So Clarke and a Turcotte who's starting to live up to his potential would need a substantial return, specifically a top-tier player.
Clark is Doughty’s replacement there is no way LA is selling him off unless it is a home run for them.
