I love the trade it's a win win for both teams
I think as Miller ages and matures emotionally he can be one of the top leaders in the locker room sans the emotional outbursts and quiet quitting that he goes through when things don't go as planned. He's still one of my favourite players.

I think JT is one of those players who is really great to have on a team that's winning(Cup Contender), but not on a struggling team who's trying to right the ship. The Rangers a year ago would have thrived tremendously with JT on board, but because they're struggling now, JT will unfortunately drag the ship down…
If rangers miss the playoffs this year and the 1st round pick moves to 2026 then fans will hate the trade.

Its way too early but looks fine for both teams. Rangers win in the short term. Canucks win in the long term IF chytil remains healthy and playing the way he is and signing markus petterson long term is a good use of the 1st pick.
Truth is he was a 4th liner in Tampa when they traded him, and then they won the cup immediately without him. He's been good for the Canucks, but ultimately not 'that' good. The Rangers picked him up for a low return, because why not? But would he alone change the fortunes of a team? Nope, that was too high an expectation. The Canucks still have a far bigger issue ahead of them with Pettersson being a ghost.

Fans upset not because of what you think on trade value. It’s because Petterson has refused to show up since trade. I’m disappointed too but the trade has worked out and benefited both NYI and VAN. Both teams are winning. Pety is a separate issue so will deal with that as it comes
If we're being real, once you're in a situation like where the Rangers find themselves, there's very little you can do to fix things. It's probably a good trade for them, but it won't automatically make them a lock for the playoffs.

Im a Ranger fan, i was very upset when the Rangers traded chytil, he was a big part of this team. We also gave up a prospect and a 1st. The Rangers always trade young talent for veterans. JT is a good player, i just hope he doesnt sink the team even more the way he is in the locker room!!
