Honestly, I don’t wanna hear a thing anymore about Myers. I was his biggest hater, but man has this guy locked in. I think the “they’re always in the way” comment perfectly summarizes what the Canucks need, and the same reason we just bought D-petey from the penguins – a big defencemen who can just control the zone and shut things down. Not a hot head like Big Z (no matter how much we all loved him), but just two large guys who want to defend and make smart plays.
Really worked hard tonight. GREAT job tonight. Chemistry seems to be great now that the cancer is gone.

I could only imagine with Hughes in the lineup, this team would look even better. Marcus Pettersson is a good defensive defensemen and stabilizes the D core. Also D Petey is a stud.
