@Oilers d'Edmonton

1. 8:24 ".. whenever stuart skinner has a bad game…"

    So you mean, almost every game. The guy is nearly .800 against top 10 teams, bud. He spots these teams a 2 or 3 goal lead to open a game, almost every time, with an opening period save percentage in the .700s.

    "Stuart Skinner is a guy that I'm having him run through the playoffs this year, and let's see where we get to at the end of the year" Ya, because Edmonton hasn't done enough of that yet already, over the past 5 years of the playoffs. Carrying donkey goalies through those playoffs, knowing full well they are costing them cups.

    This all coming from the same guy who said Montreal would be lucky to win 1 game.

    Why are these people still talking? They make better comedians, than sports analysts.

  2. Don't worry Skinnerittes. Knob will run with Skinner to whatever happens. Lets see how that works out.)

  3. It’s interesting there’s news the Oilers are looking for another goalie. That’s although among Canadian NHL teams the Oilers, from the 2009–10 season, are tied for appearances in Stanley Cup finals with one with the Canucks and Habs.

  4. I full agree with Craig here.
    Why on earth are there even rumors about Gibson? He was not good for the last few years and now has better numbers due to the team being better and his workload getting managed as Dostal is the guy they want to move on with. There`s 6,4m cap hit for 2x more years, for a guy that was a cap grave most of his contract.
    If the Oilers want get a goalie, they can trade for Nedjelkovic or Vejmelka or Alex Lyon for less cap and less term.

    But the Oilers want someone next to Draisaitl, a 4th Center and a big gritty stay at home D. That`s already plenty, no cap and assets for a goalie

  5. Skinner is probably the worst starting goalie in the league. He is unreliable, especially in key times of games and for most of last season's playoffs he was awful. I doubt any goalie has ever played that lousy and made the finals in NHL history. Skinner can barely keep his save percentage over .900 on one of the best teams in the league, he is a backup goalie.
