Every time Crosby is mentioned you can see McDavid's eyes light up and a little smile come to his lips. You can tell he's still amazed and almost star-struck by Sid.

Regardless of who scored or didn’t score the players are out there to showcase their skills, if it’s to hog the puck or pass the puck, it’s what they do. The outcome will be what it is.
As a Leafs fan… always appreciated the skill level of 97. Such a sick player. But after watching him cry on that prime video series after the cup loss. I have a new appreciation for how much he cares. Class act all the way.

His line mates and him didn’t seem to mesh well all game…. Guess marner made up for it in OT but that line is not what I was expecting at all…. Also weird to watch a game with mcdavid and see the coach not give him the minutes I’m used to seeing. He benefits off of longer shifts with multiple rushes

Dude is slowly becoming an icon of the game. Obviously he’s skilled, but his demeanor / conversational skills / humanity have also gotten sharper.
I like the 10 min 3v3 in OT. Wish they made this change in the NHL, not a big fan of SO, either that or go back to 5v5 and a tie.

Everyone Chill! I understand that Nate didn't pass to McDavid or Makar and they could have run circles around in 3v3. It's okay, THESE guys haven't played together ever. Give it time, chemistry takes time.
