  1. The pragmatist in me is going "we should probably move some pieces and start the process of a rebuild" the bruins fan in me is going "NO, RAT KING IS BROON 4 LYFE"

  2. Marchand-McDavid-Perry… can you imagine how angry the rest of the league would be at this line

  3. Trading Marchand can and should happen and happen right after the 4 Nations tournament. Gretzky was captain when traded by Edmonton so Marchand absolutely can go. He's also selfish and takes too many bad penalties or makes bad plays at the wrong time.

  4. The amount of Blues at the start of this made me think this was going to be about Schenn lol. But anyway, Marchand anywhere besides the Bruins would be weird as hell. He should not be traded, and I say that as someone who doesn't really like him or the Bruins.

  5. As a bruins fan… NONONONO PLEASE NO

But in all seriousness if this is actually true this feels like a rebuild move and I REALLY don’t accept that we’re at that point! Also he’s our last player left from 2011! We cant trade him!

  6. #63 must have a no trade clause. I cannot imagine him going anywhere. He bleeds black and gold. Other that #37 I don’t think anyone in the modern era defines being a bruin more than #63.

  7. As a Bruins fan I would hate to see Marchand go. However, our cupboard is almost bare in prospects and draft picks. If there is a deal to be made for a 1st round pick, let him go, like you said he will resign with Boston.

  8. Nobody wants the rat. He's a good player but a piece of shit human. Please Pittsburgh don't sign this turd.

  9. Historically, the Avs have picked up awesome pests at deadlines…Hunter, LeMieux, Barnaby, Tucker…Be fun to see Marchand play on Colorado where I could actually like him.

  10. If the the trade is for a late first rounder it's not worth it. Boston needs a can't miss prospect. All their young guys from Lohrei and Poitras right down to their minors and amateurs have upside with no floor. They could all be busts in the end.

  11. Rearranging or losing valuable pieces will do nothing. The GM and President HAVE. TO. GO. Yes, Neely and Sweeney are old-school Bruins but they were old school non-cup winning, one-line era Bruins. They have emptied the prospect pool, drafted terribly and paid too much for too little, counting on REAL Warriors to take discounts so they can sign passengers, not players. Losing Marchand would rip what remains of the soul out of this team as he was one of the finest warriors we ever had (behind only Bergeron)
