Whats up with media trying to find things to talk about? Leafs have neither the assets nor the cap space to bring in anything these guys discussed.
If Habs can package both Savard and Evans in a trade, should be able to get a better return

Leafs also need to keep picks so that they have home grown bottom six guys who can play with passion and heart in the playoffs. Easton Cowan, Fraser Minten, Bobby McMann and Nick Abrusseze all need to play in the line-up. If only to be energy guys who can hit and press the opposition.

we've been hearing this same discussion for several years now. every year, the leafs go bananas and spend assets to boost playoff chances, and it never pans out. the sole dissenting voice i've yet heard recently came from that frank seravalli guy. he just said, this is the year to do nothing. these guys have wasted the trade deadline help, every year, so let them make something happen on their own this year. if they're as good as they say they are, and have been this year, then they are already beating at least the teams in the east on a dependable basis and shouldn't need help to get to the semi's. and if they do put together a playoff run on their own, then next year they can be rewarded perhaps with going back to trade deadline help. but this year, it's time to sit back and do nothing.

Wait a minute – last trade dealine, Leafs fans/media said if they get Tanev cups coming – they didnt! BUT, they did get him this summer plus Lars, didnt lose any significant players and now they still need a d-man 😅 its funny to hear the constant miss calculaions of Leafs "experts" ..this why they're not scouts or GM's or even ever considered 😂
