Or maybe he was just brought up for practise because they are missing 3 forwards at the 4 Nations. lol
I think they may just need him for practice purposes, but I'd still like to see Steeves get a chance on the 3rd line. Not the 4th,,,he has too much upside for the offense.

Steeves needs to play in top 3 lines , if he plays oN 4th line he won’t have a better chance at success
I really hope matthews is going to be fully healthy in April . He hasn’t scored a goal in weeks ? Yes he’s been good defensively but that’s not enough . We need him to score goals !!!
Steeves has 98 goals in 228 games in the AHL. That's .43 goals per game. So he's been playing well in the AHL for 4 seasons. He deserves a shot. AHL is NOT the NHL, so I'm not expecting him to match that pace of course. But what else does he need to do to get a decent shot at a roster spot?
