I personally don't care what we do in the next 7 games I don't care if we win all 7 I don't want any rentals.
Three games against the Islanders are key. Glad Canada won the tournament for multiple reasons, many of which are not appropriate for a sports site. Remember Gump Worsely who was blitzed as Ranger goalie, got traded to the Habs & won Vezina Trophies. Or Mike Richter blitzed behind one of the worst defences in Ranger history. There are no rentals you can bring in that will turn this team into a contender. It would be the same as swapping some of the passengers on the Titanic before it sinks. Making the playoffs before losing is not the goal. Chris Drury trying to save his job is the only point right now.

Numbers aside for a sec, if you want the team to improve, as a g.m. you can't wait on a deal. When trying to rebuild, you need to be aggressive and force the best deals otherwise other teams will beat you to it. Waiting to see if we win or lose is job suicide . 🏒🍸
