  1. Seeing only Larkin/Ray/Debrincat only show up most of the time I'd brutal. Rasmussen, how many times do you need Kane to set you up perfectly to score? Will he ever score a goal that isn't an empty netter? Same with Copp will he ever score an important goal? Tarasenko will never find the puck in his feet or make a good play ever again maybe it is time to send him to the KHL or retire. Also Gus is actually still terrible to no one's surprise thanks for blowing the game hopefully he gets fired into the sun. A lot of people on this team are going to replaced over the next 1-2 years and I can't wait

  2. Pretty simple 4 on 4 face off in Detroit zone ! 11 on the ice please ! Then he gets a penalty ! Wow great coach

  3. If blowing a 3-1 lead and being 32nd penalty kill in the league ain’t a wake up call to start improving your defense I don’t know what is and what it would take to get you to improve the defense. Hope Todd responds with a better defense next game.

  4. Tough loss. Penalty kill continues to be a huge issue. PowerPlay continues to carry the team as 5 on 5 we are still bad. Just felt they were way to passive on the 6 on 5 at the end. The one issue with Seider is if he's turned, he's toast…he has no recovery speed. That turnover by Gus for the GWG was brutal. Blows my mind Rasmussen was a top 10 pick, he's useless.

  5. Don't overreact, with Copp onthe ice we had four lines that worked well enough to dominate the game.
Our issue is the 3rd D pairing and coaching staff should know Gustafsson is not reliable and should not have been on the ice in the OT.
SY needs to adress that D pairing without further delay.

  6. Rough watch. There are a few Anchors on this team that really drag everyone else down. Blown lead aside, not converting on the PP in OT hurts alot. Gotta close these out.. LGRW 🐙 🏒 🤘

  7. We need to bolster this D 100% Holl is not our guy and honestly we don't have much with Gustavsson either.

  8. Still got 26 games to go, people. Blew it on the two points for sure and that sucks but still above the playoff line for the moment. Hopefully they get over it and take it out on the Ducks tomorrow LGRW

  9. What a bunch of losers we are!! What an embarrassing game to choke away at home in front of your paying fans after a 2 week hiatus!!! Shame on you Red Wings & the coaching staff for letting this game get away from us!!! 😤😤😡

  10. burying Kane in the lineup despite him being 10 million times better than Tarasenko costs you 5v5 but it also seriously harms the power play, and that finally caught up w them here late. Mo Seider when Kane is buried – under either coach this year – basically refuses to pass to Kane or even look in his direction on the power play. every single pass is to Raymond. in the 4 on 3 OT this wasted a ton of time and momentum. Kane in that scenario should be handling the puck basically the entire time. instead Seider was handling it and ignoring him and Pat had to do all his work in about a 30 second window (which was worth more than the other 1:30 combined by everyone else, and almost won the game). the coach disrespecting Kane and signalling that he is trash is something Seider in particular seems to take to heart. he will never ever choose to pass to a trash bottom 6 guy over his pal Lucas. 2nd line Kane, playing offense w DeBrincat, he respected and passed to wo a problem. then Seider failing miserably to skate after Kane's pass back to him on the power play got deflected, caused a breakaway. that play gave Minnesota life. they dominated after Copp's injury but that play in particular made them think they could win.

    it is what it is.

Rasmussen in this game was great, but he can't finish and he has bad decision making. So despite great analytics the result is no goals or points. He both failed on a tap in from Kane and failed to pass to Kane for an easy tap in. Pat's corsi and everything else at 5v5 was great for the 2nd game in a row despite being buried all game, and Tarasenko's was basically the inverse. it is terrible coaching and it bit this terrible coach. do not have beef with players or pick on players, treat guys fairly. or you will eventually lose the room and lose games. there's a reason Todd McLellan never wins. all he had to do to ride this wave to greatness was treat Kane fairly. same deal as Lalonde. and like Lalonde he just couldn't do it bc of personal bias against Pat's play style.

  11. The lack of heart & accountability is sickening from our players lame remarks and not calling out each other in front of the media!! We need real men who can say it like it is and not neuter their comments every game!! I want real comments that call out the other team & their own players when they suck or get lucky!! 😡🤬

  12. btw the patheticness of Todd McLellan's apparent vendetta against Patrick Kane became absurdly apparent late in the 1st in this game when he randomly demoted Kane even further, to 4th line w Compher/Berggren. the reason? what had Kane done wrong? Not sure! Pat's line w Soderblom/Rasmussen had been utterly dominant in that 1st period just as they were utterly dominant all last game. But McLellan just hates Kane that much. He tried to bury him and he still looked too good, obviously way better than Vlad, so had to bury him even more. One of the most pathetic coaches I've ever seen. Even Lalonde never was this deliberately a scumbag.

  13. Horrible defense, a couple penalties for both teams that shouldn't have been called, goalie was off his game, blew an easy win. Completely fell asleep in the 3rd. One thing I don't understand or remember a changed rule situation is, there was a delayed penalty on 11 and we got scored on. A goal always cancels out a delayed penalty call.

  14. Hth do you blow a 3-1 lead, you idiots?! Who did we have in net?! Pathetic performance! Better smarten up against Anaheim tomorrow. I want you hosers to keep your Wild Card spot! If you know what I mean.

  15. Jeez that’s a rough loss. No Kaprizov or Hartman for Minnesota, 3-1 lead late WITH a powerplay there was no excuse to blow that. Oh well gotta take care of business tomorrow

  16. The Wings can't be taken seriously the rest of the season if they let games like this get away. Up 3-1 with 3+ minutes to play, and you let them tie the score by the end of regulation? There's no excuse for that. This time, you can't blame Lalonde, though Lalonde shouldn't have had his coaching at the beginning of t the season. McLellan is a good coach and has done a tremendous job, so the Wings organization can't blame him for these kinds of mistakes. The roster can only blame themselves, specifically those players who didn't give it their all to win in regulation. The Wild are a team doing well in the West Conference, but they're not the Oilers or the Canucks or even the Dallas Stars. I actually believe in accountability. What I mean is that I think contracts for players should contain a clause allowing for them to lose part of their salary when they blow a lead at least a 2 goal lead with 3 minutes to go, followed by losing the game in overtime. These players are making way, way too much money to justify blowing a lead like that and eventually losing the game in OT. The Wings should be ashamed of themselves. Don't even whisper that McLellan and the coaching staff had anything to do with the loss. The Wings were pathetic in the last few minutes of the game. Those making millions of dollars to play hockey better be professionals, not amateurs. What you saw, with the exception of a few players on the roster, were amateurs playing towards the end of the game and into overtime. Wings don't have much time left. Get with the program, that's McLellan's program, and get into the playoffs, period. There are no excuses at this point to not get into the playoffs. The Wings have beaten the best teams in the league this year and should make the playoffs. If they don't make the playoffs this year, it would be time to get rid of the rentals on the club this season, with the exception of a few on the roster. I don't care to hear about individual achievements from anybody on this team as this is a team sport.

  17. Ya'll back to crying about every loss as well. Been waiting all break haven't Ya'll? Lol fair weather pylons of social media.

  18. Must win tomorrow. They can't give a game away like that the rest of the way if they want to make it. Shine should be in the lineup. Scratch Tarasenko. He cost them the game. The amount of ice time he's getting is absurd.

  19. Wow they blew it one game. Theyvd been playing amazing aince todd took over. Relax people.

  20. Mentally soft team. This squad needs a McCarty or a Lapointe or a Kocur or a Maltby. They’re going to mentally wilt under pressure until they get some dog mentality to stamp out the kitty cat psyche of this team.

  21. Sad but any of these older free agents would only get a low draft pick at the deadline. Drafting is one thing but free agency hasn't done well for the Yzerplan.

  22. we deserve to lose with that game managment. Tarasenko overtime minutes will be the death of us. Ras Gus and Senko got to to yesterday

  23. I didn't feel good when they went easy on them in that second power play after the failed challenge. You had them pinned and let off and they got you for it.

  24. What's Taresenko doing on the ice in critical situations..at the end protecting a one goal lead and again in overtime. A real coach shortens his bench to his best skaters. Scott Bowman was worth a goal a game. In this one Mcclellan was outcoached.

  25. We cannot be losing games like this. I don’t care that we got the one point this game at the end made me sick.
