Let’s see how the Canucks fare against the Golden Knights without Quinn Hughes in the lineup. I don’t like the Canucks’ chances with their overreliance on him to provide a lot of the point production from the backend.
Pettersson got hurt a few weeks prior to last years All Star game. He has tendenitis in his knee and it takes about 1-2 years to get rid of it. It affects your speed, your shot. Look at all his analytics and they all fell off a cliff after the all star game last year.
The poor guy knows how he can play. Not his fault they put a huge contract in front of him. He can barely skate and with the puck he can't skate, just ski. Your own fault of you thought his points ever came from elite player skill you need to have another look. A real look. I said a real look. Don't go looking to show off his whatever. Go watch anything he has done during a game that puts in that next level. A five point game sounds good but really look even at that. He overachieved. So much
