As a fan, I never had a better time than when the Draft came to Buffalo in 2016. I didn't even go to the actual draft, but the party that the league and city put on was spectacular. Met Dominik Hasek and got his autograph, along with a bunch of other Sabres alum and Kim Pegula. Its a shame that they won't be doing something like that by design anymore
