6:48 The Ref announcing the review had the nerve to say "the call on the ice is no goal". It was very clear on the replay the Ref was pointing that it was a goal the whole time. If the call was no goal there wold have been a hand signal of no goal and a whistle. Ref's lie to try to influence outcomes.
the manner of those two games is why we will not make the placeoffs. need some drastic changes to our personnel
LGRW
frustrating that both games went to ot but 3/4 points this year is perfectly ok for us i feel like
Canada!
Sell Marchand 100%, he was irrelevant and extremely slow
Marner doesn't play center
Slavin MVP – insane performance.
Wings definitely needing fuel. Thought Ed was slow reacting over all both games. Massive challenge end of season run. Can’t see them getting in the playoffs. Slim chance. But that’s hopeful. Trade deadline could be interesting. Please off load Sinko
Goaltending is starting to become a real concern again. Lyon really cant handle more than 20 games in a season. And while Talbot doesnt give up as many stinkers he seems to be wearing down as well.
This team has been very stressful. Our penalty kill and 6 on 5 play is atrocious…. Lyon/Talbot hasn’t been very good.. at all. Thank you Kaner for the two points, while having a heart attack getting them. Go Wings.
Evan is a turd. Fox was underwhelming in the 4 nations final. Bad neautral turnover gave Canada the tying goal. He had a couple stinker plays that game…. Wasn’t impressed with him. Matthew’s always been a choke artist, and he always will be.
Oh how this video could have been called something different. Big gamble on Kane no back tracking so he could get the winner
I AGREE – MIKO IS NOT WORTH SIGNING FOR MORE THAN 8M
The most annoying part of Marner playing well in this tournament is I knew we’d have to listen to Brad’s heart flutter about him all pod.
Yzerman needs to quit trying to be "slick" by showcasing our garbage. The league isn't that stupid man. Just send the bum to GR until he shows up.
That US-Canada game was the epitome of the team that deserves the win loses to a goalie.
That zegras hit was way more blatent than the one in the islanders stars game
I'm done giving tarasenko any credit or the benefit of the doubt
The wings really need to stop sitting back trying to defend the lead whenever they are up in the game. They play so much better when they're on the forecheck
Brad I am with you on this one, Kane had no business being on the ice trying to hold a lead against the Wild. With Alex out there too it was really a bad move by McLellan, not sure what he was thinking? Heck even putting an additional defenseman out there would have been better.
LOOK AT THIS
We'll take the points, but TMac needs to remind the boys to play f'in hockey in the 3rd. I'll wear my hoodie down to Columbus this weekend in case they still need reminding 😂
Watching that game one guy really stood out to me, Drew Helleson. That guy looks like he has never played hockey in his life jesus lol
SHOWTIME!! LFGRW!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nobody even thought about attacking Rempe when he nailed jizzlick last night lol
Four Nations definitely got a lot of people talking about the sport that don't normally talk about it, and more people watching that don't normally watch, and that's amazing. Far better than I thought would happen. If the league doesn't take full advantage of this and open the expansion process, they're doing it wrong. I know you guys aren't big fans of it, especially a return to Atlanta (I'm more than happy to share what I know, just not in a Youtube comment, about what happened here), but the league is a business. Those owners have to know to strike while the iron is hot, and right now the iron is red hot, and should only get hotter when the playoffs start.
I just don't understand with the Zegras hit… the refs have the authority to call a 5-minute major penalty for hit to the head so they can review it. Why did they not do so? Just huddle for a few moments, nonchalantly watch the jumbotron replay, see what happened, and announce the play is under review. If there's no penalty then so be it, but if it was a hit to the head and requires a minor or major penalty then get the call right. This game was out of the refs control afterwards. The shot by Ben to Vatrano I believe it was would never have happened. So dumb to have the ability to review and not utilize it.
I was rooting for Canada as an American, u wont be making me made.
No hyperbole at all, I watched Nick Lidstrom's entire career, and this tournament defensively Slavin was absolutely channelling prime Lidstrom. It was jaw-droppingly impressive.
What I want to know is why the Hell is Rasmussen looking out into the stands instead of where he was going with no other players in that direction. That makes no sense at all. it's like there was a hot chick in the stands that distracted him. Watch the hit again. Yes the refs blew it for sure though.
I also noticed that Vatrano is also #77 and Zegras 11. I think the D man thought it was Zegras and just whacked him when he had the chance b/c he know he was on the ice.
