Why do you continue to go to Mikko Rantenan. He's not as good as you think. He is doing shit without the Colorado players around him.
It takes others to make players good. MARNER IS THE TYPE OF PLAYER THAT MAKES OTHER PLAYERS GREAT IT SHOWS ON EVERY LINE HES BEEN ON IN HIS CARRER SO FAR. Marner makes Mathews better, Maner makes Tavares better. Marner makes Domi, knies and Mcmann better.
You hate on Marner but open your eyes Marner is the best player The leafs have had in years since 1992.

Marner is our best penalty killer , he runs our power play , plays the most i minutes , great Defensively. Watch for what you wish for . If I’m getting rid of the big guys I’m gettin rid of JT or nylander before I’m getting rid of marner . Nylander can score goals but he’s awful defensively, he can’t kill penalties etc .

Marner seems to be the only one held accountable, if he wants to win a cup he's gonna have to leave the leafs, they've been my team for 60 years, but they just never seem to find a way to win, poor management for a very long time, they had some hope when they had Mark Hunter was there but I just don't see them winning the cup for a long time.

Mitch Marner is like a circus Pony great entertainment value however when it's time to go to war in the playoffs he's nowhere to be found. Waiting for some miracle to happen is not going to happen he is who he is. Trade him to the New York for 3 first round draft picks and Noah Dobson and Hudson Fasching. After the team Canada showing New York would bite at that. Toronto needs to the stockpile first-round picks.
Boys…like your show but holy crap will you give Mitch a effin break. I have actually seen the Leafs win a cup. Sittler couldn't do it. Gilmour couldn't do it. Sundin couldn't do it. It's an effin team sport. Has any leaf goalie made a game winning save? If you truly watch the game, Marner and Mathews have people draped all over them the entire playoff game. Mitch is one of the premier play makers in the world! EVERY LEAF IS A FAILURE IN THE PLAYOFFS!
FYI There are no 10 year contracts. Marner makes everyone better, plays defence and bleeds blue and white. What more do leaf fans need besides a cup? He should leave considering how leaf fans turned on him. Mikko Rantanen only thrives with elite playmakers like MacKinnon. He has fewer points in Carolina because he is a complimentary player. Necas is flying playing with MacKinnon. There will be no-one better than Marner in next year's free agent class.
I think Leafs ownership has essentially told Shanahan that if they make the playoffs, that's all that matters. First round revenues likely matches other teams four rounds of revenue.

We can also tell when the leafs aren’t playing hard, so many times I see a player have a guy lined up for a big hit and they turn away or stop, like man can you just go through him, and Reilly with the stretch passes that always turn into an icing, like use your partner pass pass pass quick now your up the ice or they dump the puck in and are no where near being there and forcing a turnover, or they collapse in front of the net instead of forcing the play, they don’t play nearly hard enough, like the fact that we havnt won since 67 that should put you in a frenzy, you should be foaming at the mouth possed off all the time, like how dare you come into our building, this is nothing but a mind set and our superstars don’t hit there not physical and that’s a huge problem, we need to get rid of Marner, I love him to death but it’s time to break them up,Mikko Rant can provide the same as Marner but he hits and he’s physical and I love the emotion that he brings, we don’t even see the top players breaking there sticks or getting g pissed off and it’s enough already, we neee that extra step that extra level from everyone, it’s a choice not to hit and they get out hit every game, no team is afraid of them and that’s the ultimate equalizer against great players , hit hit hit them and throw them off their game
