The announcers described the Senators effort as gutsy. It doesn't matter. They still lost. Ottawa has San Jose next. It might seem a bit premature to say this ,with 24 games left in the season, but if they can't beat the worst team in the league, then I think they are done. I don't care about injuries. Every team has injuries. I know San Jose was half a minute away from beating Winnipeg the other night, but Winnipeg is firmly entrenched in a playoff spot. They can afford to lose a few games that they should win. Ottawa cannot.

I love how this team mops up and still gets no respect. If my Avs can't upset them in the playoffs again, I'll be rooting for them to go all the way.
The Jets pretty much stopped playing after their 3rd goal, but thankfully Hellebuyck didn't completely choke.

In truth the Wpg Jets have been Canada's team since the mid-70's. Seven years of the WHA and 3 cup wins. Only club team to beat the Russians. The Hawerchuck years, the Selanne years, and now this record-setting team that is near unstoppable. Most exciting team in the league this season by far.

Ah the Sens once again proving they’re overrated, I love seeing them blame Ullmark for this loss instead of their team only able to put up one against the Jets…is that just a Canadian thing, instead of blaming the team for only putting up one goal they blame the goalie.
