@Penguins de Pittsburgh

  1. Elias Pettersson is a few months into a multi-year contract (7 more years!). Give him time. If he is not a perennial Selke and 100 point scorer in 2-3 years then congratulate him on negotiating a great contract. Until then, perhaps tone down? We can indeed compare him to Miller, but be ready for a continual sh*t-storm that does not look good for player development in NHL. JT Miller was afforded first line minutes by Tocchet and even has much lower PPG average vs Pettersson. Miller did not perform, overstepped his role and Brad Richardson confirmed this. Incredibly hypocritical. Then Miller lost against Sweden in 4-nations despite Sweden missing 3 of its best players. You talk too much. Take a page from Pettersson's book.

  2. Everyone’s talking about binnigton for skinner, and I understand binnigton had a great tournament, but we’re bringing up the stats, they have the same stats, .898 save percentage, binnigton is actually slightly worse statistically, we’re acting like getting binnigton is saving the oilers, he has the potential to be a great goalie showed it at the 4 nations but other then the final game, he was not great, and if loses that game we’re probably not then talking about him, I think it’s ridiculous to be giving him such high praise for 1 good game, he had 1 good game out of 4

  3. How can they just get more top players every year? They can’t have much to trade or give to other teams.

  4. Petterson is a plug, and the Canucks trade a heart & soul guy like JT instead

  5. Yes he is or he wouldn't have resigned, Hayes needs to drop this he took the L earlier when he said Sid needs to be like "Tom Brady and win elsewhere" 😂 drop the Sid talk Hayes it ain't happening no matter how much you think you can talk it into existence

  6. I hope Syd stays and finishes his career as a Penguin. I appreciate that he is a competitive guy but there is absolutely nothing left for him to accomplish.

  7. Sid has earned the right to do as he wishes. If he wants to put up with a Pitt rebuild, so be it. I'd prefer he go to a contender.

  8. As a Leafs fan I feel terrible that Sid got stuck with Dubas. That GM is as clueless as they get.

  9. Blown away that they would trade such a heart and soul, give everything type player, to keep….Elias Peterson.

  10. I don't see Crosby as someone to do this, but I would love to have him finish his career with Edmonton or Toronto.

  11. the answer to the title is yes. and the reason is that he doesn't have to prove anything else to anybody. hes done it all and will go down as one of the greatest to ever play the game.

  12. He's not leaving. He has won everything while remaining loyal to the Penguins. Crosby just had 4 Nations to prove he can still make a difference in games that matter and he will be looking forward to the Olympica to do it again.

  13. Crosby won’t leave despite the fact it would benefit his last years in the NHL. Colarado with Nate or Edmonton with the Oilers or Tampa Bay with Kon Cooper. Time will tell

  14. Send petey back to sweden, i dont even care anymore. he is a fraud and needs to go

  15. Crosby’s loyalty is strong. I would love to see him dawn La Sainte-Flanelle, but I don’t see him jumping ship.

  16. Crosby has much more of my respect than a MAGA chud that Gretzky is, out to chase every last dollar.

  17. ITS CANUCKS MANAGEMENT FAULT. FIRST OF ALL, THEY PRESSURED HIM TO SIGN. HE WASN'T READY. THEY LET MILLER BULLY HIM. NOW, THEY ARE TROLLING THE MEDIA AFTER HIM. PETTERSEN CAN TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE CANUCKS! AND II HOPE HE DOES IT.

  18. If I was the owner of the Pittsburgh penguins, I would go to Sydney Crosby and thank them for all he's done for the penguins in the city of Pittsburgh and ask him what he would like and if he wanted to go to a certain team I would trade him there. Even if I didn't get fair value, I think I'd owe it to the guy to do that. And thank him for everything he's done for the penguins and wish him well in his last number of years that he has left a playing hockey. Wish him all the best
