The Kyrou and Parayko trade rumors are false. There’s nothing behind it. Binnington is not going anywhere.
Both Schenn and Parayko are exactly the type of players that are missing to help get to the next level, especially that Tanev could easily get injured in the playoffs at 35 with the style of player that he is and there is a need for at least a number three center; there are several players that could be combined to remove 8.5 million off the cap.

Mike, I think you're beginning to hallucinate! Parayko isa6'5" right shot defenseman. You are not replacing him. No way is he getting traded from the blues. Very favorable contract for the Blues who are playing well again.
Parynko and Luke schenn to Toronto and lose timmins would make a great blueline. Add good 4th liner and a 3c and cup is in sights.

I would love to see the Utah Hockey Club and the Blues make a blockbuster trade. Thomas and Kyrou for Keller & Schmaltz. Both teams need a shake up. Keller is a St. Louis kid and would live to come home and play in front of his home fans. St. Louis might have to throw in a few dollars to even out the money. Army should accept nothing less than a 1st & 3rd round draft pick for Schenn. A few years ago I would have traded Parayko for a bag of pucks but now I consider him untouchable. Now is the time to sell high on Binner. Hofer is ready to get the keys handed to him. He could start for about 13 teams in the league right now.
