Keefe needs to be like lemaire type coach. A grading is very shocking.

I would not have been so positive as you are, but then again you should never ask a fan to assess a team, good or bad, so I appreciate your objectivity. I was bullish on your assessment until the first second when I realized that we are starting with 2001 (yes, I’ve been blocking that 01 SCF run with the Ray Bourque celebration from my mind for 2 1/2 decades) and thought the last quarter-century was mostly in decline. 2012 was an anomaly, we’ve had a few teases in recent history, and even this year may end up also in the teaser category.
But objectivity counts for a lot and the numbers don’t lie, so I guess it’s not as bad as I’d thought.

A is generous… this teams been bad since 2013 (except for 2 years) That’s half the time they’ve been C or D grade.

Man thinking bout Schneider here and think bout all the goalie injuries the last 25yrs and theres a lot it really and i dont take this player for granted but man does it really show how insane of a career marc andre fleury has had and how i doubt it ever happens again. 1000 goalie games when a stick is for 500. 500 wins. 3 cups. Some concussions and other injuries and still doing it at 40 FORTY YEARS OLD!. So blessed to have him in minney the last few yrs and really being able to appreciate it flower as a player but hes an even better person. That shutout final game against montreal in Montreal a team he never played for. Really shows how respected he is. When he does retire in a couple monthes potentially longer with some luck and health thats gonna be a really fun video to watch not just here but when the nhl does a massive tribute video. Well see when his # gets retired in Pittsburgh potentially elsewhere with the huge impact hes made. We all really gotta take in these last few monthes of fleury also ove potentially breaking gretzky goal record in minney against fleury would go so hard. Ok yeah im drooling. Love the videos.

The Devils really wasted Cory Schneider. He was phenomenal. But they just couldn't score to support him.
I wish they'd go back to the white, green and red uniforms which were a nod to the large amount of Italians in New Jersey. Besides Chicago has the best white, black and red unis. I actually dug the mid 80s Devils jerseys.
Didn't the Devils make the Cup once with Pete DeBoer? They didn't win but i think they upset a lot of teams in the Eastern Conference.
