Matthews is a great, great player but his goal here was just bad goaltending. I think. Not every goal is fantastic.
I know they are finally getting out of the Dog Days of the season but whoof. There are no bad goalies or 3-on-3 in the playoffs to bail the Leafs out. They have some work to do.

I love how Auston ties it @ 4 Tavares ties it @ 5 Knies shows just how good he's going to be and he is doing great anyway but he is going to be arguably the best power forward in the NHL in a year or two, and this exhausted bunch keeps it even after Rackell ties it yet again on the first shift of the 3rd period but it's a overtime heroic moment for the sniper WillyStyles

I’m very happy that TORONTO won this game. However, come playoff time, the Maple Leafs are going to have to……… get it together. I don’t believe they will win too many games in the playoffs, if they let five goals in.
