Not surprised, he’s been on the top lines almost every game he’s played and has little to show for it. Can’t stay upright and turnovers. The 1st period against the Canes turned in their favor after a weak turnover by him

Just trade him to the kings and get Drew Doughty. I know he would never get traded out of LA but he would be a great addition for the Stanley cup run and on the back end to help stabilize it.

Evander Kane is exactly what the Oilers need. I understand the Cap implications but, man, if they lose Kane, think of how far the team has regressed from last season.

Arvidsson and Jeff Skinner have no movement clauses? Why would the Oilers give those two players no movement clauses? Lowers my opinion of the management team even further. Does every player on the team have that type of clause in their contract? What about Henrique? That's insane, that handcuffs your options right from the start. I'd like to know the reason behind doing that. Throw the name Bowman in there and the mystery is solved. Now to Evander Kane. He adds the type of play that the team badly needs. Big, power forward who can score. Hard to play against. Will drop the gloves if necessary. Just the type of player you need in the playoffs. Appears to be a lot of talk about him and 'alleged' issues he has. 'Alleged issues'. Talk is talk. Rumors are rumors. Blah, blah, blah. Bullshit is bullshit. Maybe he's being set up to be the 'fall guy' here. They can blame him for not going on LTIR and thereby preventing them from making better trades, assuming they're capable of making better trades which is doubtful considering what they've done/not done so far since last summer. Their expertise has resulted in an older, slow team, with no grit. I can't see why Kane would do that. He benefits from doing that. The team adds pieces that they obviously need to go far in the playoffs and that benefits him too. This might be his last chance to win a Cup. But, who knows what's going through his mind. I want him to do that, and I want him to stay. Let's say it works out that way. For trades I like Brandon Carlo and maybe Trent Frederic from Boston. A right shot center would be nice too. As for Bowman and those no movement clauses, I just heard that they're starting a new hockey organization in Tierra Del Fuego and need a GM to oversee things. The broken-down freighter is in the harbor and ready to set sail. Slow boat. Old thing. Leaky on the starboard side. Bad food. Travel time about a month. Have a nice trip.
