Avs set the tone for the rest of the West with their trades this deadline: if you’re not gonna take the deadline seriously we will. Teams like Dallas that have matched well with them in former series now have an Avs team with a completely different makeup to figure out. If we play Dallas in the first round that’s going to be a historic playoff series either way it goes.
