Not going to match the game anymore. Google is there to tell me the game scores and that is it. I am officially done watching this team and i will be heck a lot healthier. This team does nothing else but give you PTSD. Trade dead line yesterday and Fitz did absolutely nothing other than bringing people that can not help us but true contending teams made moves to get a better chance in winning the cup. You can not do anything in the playoffs with this team.
Was the players effort a reaction to disappointment with what was done on NHL Trade Deadline Day? More should have been done but there are some pieces coming in that can help. Maybe the players were feeling pressure to perform well because of the latter part mentioned and gripped their sticks too tight? Maybe we saw more of what this team really is about? Fragile egos? If so this needs to be addressed and changed.
As for what I thought of the game well people we were playing one of the best teams in the NHL without our best offensive forward and best offensive d-man so this team is very handicapped at this point. Should they have done better than this? Sure. But still should lose most nights to this opponent. Facts.
What has Toronto won in my lifetime? Why did we bring this coach in? Never wanted him here. I know what is happening is not all his fault but he should never have been hired.
Now that we're back to losing. Winnipeg cheated big. We're definitely having a huge conversation with coach Sheldon Keefe. Now that we're without Hughes. Now that we look like Kamala Harris Hilary Clinton team being hammered by Trump. We're still on the verge of missing the playoffs again. We need to stick together again especially defense depth needs more work.
