100% waste of assets for Tanev. Schenn barely moves the needle IMHO.

The Jets have a 2nd line center named Adam Lowry. Would have been nice to get him some 2nd line wingers and then imagine if Namestnikov/Ehlers/Perfetti were line 3
The best addition the jets could make is putting Stanley on waivers, he cannot play in the playoffs under any circumstances

Never really understood everyone saying the jets needed a second line center, the jets don’t have a problem up front. Tanev is a nice add though, throws a ton of hits and brings a lot of energy. Adding Schenn on defence is a great addition because any reduction in minutes for Logan Stanley helps the Jets immensely.
This sends a message to the team as well
